We need to accept that trying to digitise identity simply has not worked and we need to start creating a new kind of identity for the new digital age instead. We need to stop trying to import those analogue identity models, rooted in Industrial Age bureaucratic hacks to deal with urban anonymity and develop notions of identity for a digital age; in short, we need digital identity, not digitised identity.
But what exactly is “digital identity” and why is it different from “digitised identity”? This talk will address this question and deliver the answers.”
