With the issuance of official eID documents onto mobile devices, the mobile device becomes the second factor of identification. Cloning protection is the most crucial factor for acceptance. Java Card applets managed by the issuer and installed onto eSE/eUICC allow for highest confidence levels. We will introduce a real-world implementation of this technique.
