The lack of standardisation and security features in medical personal protective equipment (PPE) certificates allows counterfeiters to market their dangerous products. Regulations are in place to ensure the safety of PPE, but security gaps allow them to be circumvented. This talk highlights strategies for standardised and secure certification of medical PPE products.
