We present a novel DOVID-like feature designed to be authenticated using smartphones while staying mostly invisible to the human eye. The DOVID is designed to be read by smartphones’ back-cameras when illuminated by the LED-flash. We will especially discuss the design-challenges linked to the geometries of the LED and cameras in various smartphones.
