By optimal choice of micro- and nanoscale-geometries, we demonstrate full-colour 3-D image projection in a transparent window or in reflection utilizing any mobile-phone flashlight as the light source. Furthermore, flat microlenses (<3micrometers thick) can enable beautiful 3D effects. We will also describe integration with existing high-security-document manufacturing processes.
