The digitalisation of value documents has stripped away the physical security features and made them much more vulnerable to fraudulent alteration. In response, SICPA envisioned a need for universal and independent verification of both paper and digital certificates. Security printers have a role to play in digital security transformation, taking advantage of mobile technology to transform the way trusted and private information is shared and verified.
