Protecting ID Systems in the Quantum Era

We describe details of the world’s first e-passport demonstrator that meets post-quantum cryptography (PQC) security requirements. Furthermore, we show how quantum computing and quantum effects could be used for the design of new encryption methods and new digital security systems.
